Cape Point

One of the special treats of South Africa is Cape Point. Incredibly scenic and full of history. Turns out that some dude named Dias was the first to reach the cape not Da Gama as I thought.
In any case it's pretty an that's all that matters.

The drive to the cape from Cape Town is beautiful too.

And of course no road trip would be complete without a sumpitous seafood lunch. (this was taken post gorging)
Cape Point was SSOO windy, but breathtakingly beautiful.

You take a funicular up to the top.

That's the Cape of Good Hope over yonder.

New Delhi is -> that way ->

:-D I'm not complaining! It's amazing what you can do when you don't spend 90% of your vacation in a hospital :-P
