To me commuting encompasses what is wrong with modern society. It is the navigation of the overcrowded transportation systems, the battling for a piece of personal space, the gasping for a breath of fresh air when trapped in a stale underground system with people with gradient definitions of personal hygiene.

Much like my diatribe about travel, I realise that I am not a man about the journey - in fact the journey bites. If I could just appear in the office and back home without dealing with the soulless office monkeys that I see every morning and evening my life would be oh so much richer.
