Got to love the theme parks!

So I've realised that I haven't done much in Bangkok, aside from gyming and Thai Language lessons, that's about it. I should pull a James and carry my camera around and take regular lief shots, because I do think that Bangkok is very photogenic, I just forget to.

BUT, Ravi and I did manage to do something fun one day. We went to Dream World! This is Bangkok's answer to Bombay's Essel World.

It may not be Disney World, but it was fun. The next day my Teacher made fun of me for having gone, "Isn't it for little children!?". I think its for those who are still young at heart :-)

Make sure you peed before going on the rides!

Which one should we ride first?

Above: The Ride (a children's ride) / Below: The warning (I didn't know underage drinking and riding was such a problem in Thailand!)

Spinning around makes me vomit - Ravi had to do this one on his own.

Siam Ocean World

In the basement of one of Bangkok's upscale malls, Siam Paragon, one can find one of Asia's coolest aquariums. Armani, Balenciaga, Mikimoto, sharks and jellyfish. All in one building! What more can you ask for!?

Ravi and I took and afternoon to play tourists and marble at the aquatic wonders contained therein. I most say, nature is both impressive and scary. It's neat to be able to still be astounded.

One of the scariest things there was the 200 kg grouper! Who knew something so tasty could get SO big!?

To those of you who admit to reading my blog. Thank you!! :-) Keep nagging me and I'll try to be more interesting. I've been meaning to write a commentary about daily life in Bangkok, but find myself unmotivated :-P

Ok, I'm lazy

One would think that being unemployed would give me more time to blog and the like, but not true. My net time is restricted to only a couple of hours at night and that's usually taken up with other matters.

But today I decided that enough is enough I MUST blog.

So, I'm going to pull an Anthony and post a couple of pics from my flight to BKK from JFK (non-stop by the way). I flew coach, but it was a 17 hours flight so to me its definitely worth mentioning :-P

The food really was not memorable, and neither was the movie selection. I have also done the direct Newark-Singapore (16 hours) and that product I must say was better overall. I like Thai Air a lot, but there was something to be desired considering how bloody long the flight is. But hey at least it got me here and not at a bad price.

These days my life is taken up by Thai language classes and going to the gym to try to get rid of my 30's tire. But I did finally do some stuff this weekend. I'll try to post the pics tomorrow.

If you promise to keep reading I promise to keep blogging. But I do need to know you are out there. It's been a while since I've gotten any evidence of a readership.
